NOTORIOUS 'BEAST OF SLIGO' SIGHTED LIVING IN A QUIET ENGLISH VILLAGE.

The notorious paedophile who raped children and tortured them with cattle prods has been discovered living in a quiet English village.
Beast of Sligo Joseph McColgan resided in a number of places across Devon before settling in Bampton three years ago.

A local mother has expressed serious concerns about the paedophile living in such a close-knit community, minutes away from a school.
She said: “There are a lot of children in this town and you normally feel fine letting them play outside.
“People have a right to know that he’s living here.”
The 73-year-old, who raped children and tortured them with cattle prods over two decades, was jailed for 238 years in 1995, reports the Irish Mirror.

He was released in 2004 after serving just nine years of his 26 concurrent sentences – the longest of which was 12 years and imposed 18 times.
The evil pensioner fled to Exmouth, East Devon, to start a new life as soon as he was freed from Dublin’s Arbour Hill prison almost a decade ago.
But in 2010 he was jailed for 18 months for not notifying police of his trip to Ireland and 12 months consecutively for making indecent images of children.
Prosecutor Malcolm Galloway said at the time: “He is a highly dangerous man.”
McColgan has sparked horror in the idyllic UK town after he was spotted shopping on Thursday.
He was refused service at a shop after the cashier recognised him, the paper reports.
On approach by a local resident, McColgan told him “he didn’t do it” and branded his children 'liars'.
Local Councillor Carol Mares added: “I’m not sticking up for him but at least police know where he is.
“If he has to move again he will go underground.”
A Devon and Cornwall Police source said McColgan would be carefully monitored.
